How do I find a team?

October 4, 2009 in FAQ

Prior to the official start of Global Game Jam, the SGJ run sessions so that all competitors can get to know each other – and the skills that they bring. During this time, you can decide which group you would most like to work with.

Do I have to stay awake for the full 48hrs?

October 4, 2009 in FAQ

No, SGJ does not require you to stay awake for the whole of the event – although some people do. A few head home late into the evening, whereas most catch a couple of hours sleep at the event. Starting from SGJ[2010] we hope to have a chill-out tent (inside, not out in the cold) for competitors to re-energise throughout the weekend.
